Agnes Marie Ball

Agnes Marie Ball, age 90, of Wynne  formerly of McCrory passed away January 10, 2017. Born August 4, 1926 in McCrory, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late Joseph Michael and Mary Agnes Ancel Hess. She had worked as a typist for Sears in Memphis, Tennessee and also worked as a clerk at Wherry’s Grocery Store in McCrory. She served the Pumpkin Bend Cemetery Association and served the Woodruff County Democratic Committee. Agnes was an active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Wynne.

Her hobbies included going to the casino, yard work and especially her flowers and garden. She was an avid Razorback fan going to many of the games. Agnes was an outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Ball; a son, Arnie Michael Ball and son-in-law, Ira Ellis.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Diana Ellis of Wynne; daughter-in-law, Donna Bachand and husband Mike; five grandchildren, Tony (Amanda) Ellis, Phil (Donna) Ellis, Chris (Lisa) Ellis, Tori and Paden  Ball; seven great-grandchildren, Cole Ellis, Sydney Ellis, Aundrea Cantrell, Zachary Ellis, Madelyn Ellis, Chelsea Buttry and Caleb Capps; two great-great grandchildren, Aubrey Cantrell and Wheeler Buttry and many relatives and friends.

Funeral service time will be 10:00 am, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Wynne, Arkansas with Father Samy officiating.

Vistation will be held 5:30 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church followed by a Rosary from 7:00 to 7:30 pm.

Pallbearers are Tony Ellis, Phil Ellis, Chris Ellis, Zach Ellis, Cole Ellis, Paden Ball and Mike Bachand.
