Norma J. Kearbey passed away on December 13, 2009 at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Norma was born on January 1, 1924 in Tilden, Nebraska, the daughter of Martha and Herman Lind. She was confirmed on May 29, 1938 in Tilden and spent most of her life in the Battle Creek, Nebraska area.
Norma was always very involved in volunteering in the communities in which she lived and also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Verdis Kearbey, retired in 1992 and moved to Heber Springs.
She is survived by her husband Verdis, one son Stanley Henseleit, and his wife Kathleen, of Las Vegas, Nevada, two daughters and their spouses, Norma Jean and Pete Wilber of Norfolk, Nebraska and Julie and Gary Goodell of Fountain Hills, Arizona, one step-daughter, Carla and her husband, Al Fowler of Searcy, Arkansas, six grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, and a sister, Donna Winters, of Ashland, Nebraska.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Sharon, one brother Clifford and one sister Loretta.
Memorials may be given to either Trinity Lutheran Church or the Cleburne County Health Unit Hospice in Heber Springs
