Minor Lee Greene, 69 years of age, passed away December 28, 2011 at White County Hospital. He was born November 24, 1942 to Bill and Sophronia Greene in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
Thru out his life he was a meat cutter and a truck driver with Razorback Concrete of Heber Springs, AR and Plant Truck Line of Heber Springs. He loved gardening and working in the fields cutting hay with his quick steer tractor. He also was a volunteer firefighter with the Pine Snag-Lobo Fire Department. One of his favorite past times was eating at the Pizza Pro in Pangburn, Arkansas. He will truly be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife , Frances Haile Greene of 46 years on December 31st, 2011. He has two sons, Rickey Greene of Pangburn, and Kevin Greene with wife Maranda Greene of Florida. Three grandchildren, Spencer Greene, Gracie Greene and Bentlee Greene. Three surviving siblings, Dennis Greene with wife Joyce Greene of Pangburn, Charles Greene and wife Barbara of Ida, and Marie Greene Moore with husband Jim Moore of Quitman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Sophronia Greene. Two sisters, Wilma Greene Walker and Jetty Faye Greene Jones. Three brothers, Herman Greene, Eugene Greene and Billy Greene.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. A funeral will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home. Please sign online guestbook at www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com.
