Lonnie Rudolph Bray , age 89 passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 in Heber Springs. He was born November 22, 1922 in Quitman, Arkansas to W.C. and Dessie Bray. He worked as a logger and a farmer for most of his life and enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Howard General Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son Gary Bray and wife Lea of Heber Springs, two daughters; Barbara Horton and husband Cecil of Heber Springs, Jeanell Allen and husband Don of Mableville, AR, six grandchildren; Darlene Thomas, Danny Horton, Gena Jones, Ron Bowen, Dwayne Bowen, Jason Bray and eight great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Violet Bray, His parents, W.C. and Dessie Bray and one brother Lois Bray.
A visitation will be held Tuesday December 20, 2011 at the Heber Springs Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas from 6-8 p.m.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Howard General Baptist Church. All arrangements are under the direction of Heber Springs Funeral Home.
