Lloyd Allen Doss age 53, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 in Quitman, Arkansas. He was born July 25, 1957 in Searcy, Arkansas to John Richard and Marietta Doss. He was a devoted and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and a committed Christian. He loved his church and playing music. Lloyd was a storage administrator with the Dillards Corporation for 20 years. He was also a member of the Pleasant Springs Fellowship church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Shanna Lynn Doss of Quitman, Arkansas; two daughters, Jodi Coleman and husband David of Quitman, Arkansas and Mindy Doss and husband Gary of Quitman, Arkansas; his parents, Marietta Odom and husband Randall of Cabot, Arkansas; Father-in-law Verlin Waller; sister-in-law, Shelly Blythe and husband Bob of Jacksonville, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Shawn Waller and wife Angie of Mount Vernon, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Dylan Doss, Madison Doss, Makinley Shaw, Colton Shaw, Jayden Coleman and Hunter Coleman.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Irene Fuller; father, John Richard Doss; mother-in-law Sue Waller; step-father, Roy Riddle and brother Richard Scott Doss.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Springs Fellowship Church. Internment will follow in the Sylvania Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
