Larry Doyle Brooks age 61, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. He was born July 10, 1948 in Heber Springs, AR to Aubrey and Annie Jewel Brooks. He was a carpenter and worked in the oil and gas industry with Impact Energy Company. He was a member of the Mountain Top Cowboy Church in Heber Springs.
Larry is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Patricia Brooks of Rosebud, AR, two sons Scott Wingert of Rosebud, Sean Brooks of Rosebud, one daughter Jennifer Barnett of Rosebud. He is also survived by his mother Annie Jewel Simmons of Hopewell, AR, two sisters Gail Bumpus of Italy, TX, Betty Muirhead of Italy, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Aubrey Brooks
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 10, 2:00 p.m. at the Rosebud Assembly of God Church in Rosebud, AR.
