Judith Maureen West Rodgers Mooneyham, age 89, of Heber Springs died December 30, 2010. Born February 1, 1921 in Star City, Arkansas she was the daughter of the late William Thaddeus and Norma West.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, A.G., Elmer, Clarke and William West; sisters, Bernice McNeil and Ruby Case and the children’s father, Walter David Rodgers.
Survivors include a daughter, Greta Rodgers Johnson (George) of Denton, Texas; son, William D. Rodgers (Julie) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Orlin West (Jessie) of Dumas, Arkansas.
She was a charter member of Heber Springs Baptist Church and had been a resident of South Ridge Assisted Living in Heber Springs, Arkansas since 2004.
A graveside service was held Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm, at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Humane Society of Heber Springs - Animal Shelter, 49 Shelter Lane, Heber Springs, AR 72543.
