Joe Edward Spinks, age 65 went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2011 in Heber Springs, AR. He was born August 14, 1946 in Drasco, AR to Gene and Mary Ann Spinks.
Joe is survived by his wife of 45 years, Tricia Spinks, whom he married September 12, 1966; one son , Todd Spinks; one grandson, Morgan Spinks and his mother Stephanie; one brother, Johnny Spinks and wife Kathryn, and their sons Jonathan and Brandon and one sister, Lyn Lesher and her husband Paul.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Mary Ann Spinks; one brother, Bill Spinks; and one sister, Wanda Spinks.
A visitation will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., also at the Heber Springs Funeral Home. Interment will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Joe’s memory to the American Cancer society.
