James Wilber McLaughlin, age 69, of Heber Springs, passed away March 23, 2011, in Conway, Arkansas. He was born March 26, 1941, in Ramer, Tennessee, to Ansel and Annie Rea McLaughlin. James was a veteran of the United States Navy. He also was retired after 33 years from McConnell Douglas in St. Louis, Missouri, where he built fighter jets. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed gardening and roses. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 28, 2011, at 2:00 pm, at the Hope Lutheran Church in Heber Springs with visitation beginning at 11:30 am prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Hope Lutheran Church in Heber Springs or a charity of your choice.
