Iris Emmanette Shelby, age 69, of Quitman, passed away May 6, 2010 at
her home. Born September 25,1940 in Hiram, Arkansas, she was the
daughter of the late C.A. and Eula (Davis) Reynolds. Emmanette was a
homemaker and a member of the Tuckerman Freewill Baptist Church in
Tuckerman, Arkansas.

She was an avid softball player, enjoyed bowling , was a master card
player and loved gardening, fishing and working with flowers. She was
a supporter of St. Judes, Special Olympics, March of Dimes and the
Breast Cancer Foundation.

Pallbearers are Ricky Gilmore, Chris Fortenberry, Wesley Harris, Faron
Gallaway, Rodney Holmes,and Chris Price.
Honorary pallbearers are James Martin, Leon Watson, Ronald Wright and
Gerald Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her huband of twenty six years, Noah
David Harris; one son, Jimmy Don Harris; two brothers, Lennis Reynolds
and Bill Reynolds.

Survivors include her husband, James W. Shelby of Ohio; one son; David
Harris and wife Diane of West Lake, LA; three daughters, Dana Guffey
of  Quitman, Arkansas, Sandy Childress and husband Terry of
Greenbrier, Arkansas and Donna Powell and husband Danny of Quitman,
Arkansas; one step-daughter, Monica Morrison and husband Jim and
family; three sisters, Alpha Hensley and husband J. L. of Caraway,
Arkansas, Peggy Oldham of Quitman, Arkansas and Sharon Birmingham and
husband Darrell of Batesville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Alaina
Malone, Nikala Harris, Jennifer Smith, Amber Crockett, Ashley
Lybarger, Brooke Gallaway, Andy Gallaway, Casey Childress, Logan
Childress, Noah Fortenberry and Tyler Powell;five great-grandchildren,
David Johnston, Lexi Crockett, Kambree Malone, Bryton Malone , Hadley
Lybarger, many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2010, at
Heber Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Sunday, May 9, 2010 at  the
funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Hackler officiating. .
Interment will follow in Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery near Greers Ferry,
Arkansas.
