Fredrick “Fred” Allen Steward, age 58 passed away March 23, 2011 in Quitman, AR. He was born October 16, 1952 in Little Rock, AR to Walter and Emma Steward. Fred was a Veteran of the Vietnam war serving in the United States Air Force. He also worked for Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR for many years. He enjoyed fishing, mowing his yard, his dog Lilly, and he also enjoyed drinking coffee with his buddies at the Double Bee’s café in Quitman.
Fred is survived by two step-daughters, Amanda Chapman of Heber Springs, AR and Ashley Cathey of Bridgeport, Texas; and his mother, Emma Jean Steward; also five grandchildren, Alexia Lindsey, Caden Bridges, Taylor Bridges, Courtney Cathey and Brooklyn Cathey.
A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Heber Springs Funeral Home in Heber Springs, AR at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Keo cemetery, in Keo, AR. Please sign online guestbook at www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com.
