Francis Marion Asher, age 92, of Imboden, Arkansas, passed away

February 14, 2010 at White River Medical Center in Batesville,

Arkansas. Born May 18th, 1917, in Pike County, he was the son of the

late Lily Bryant Asher and James Asher. Francis was a self-employed

carpenter, US Army Veteran serving his country in World War II and of

the Church of Christ faith.

As long as health permitted he loved dancing, camping and fishing.

He is survived by two sons, Mike Asher and wife Cindy of Ash Flat, AR
 and Roger Asher
and wife Edna Sue of Newport, AR; one step-son, Calvin Hale
 and wife Ginia of Ravenden, AR; three
daughters, Carolyn DeBow and husband
Mike of Batesville, AR, Winnie Brownderville and husband Carlos of Weiner, AR
and Pat Pierce and husband Billy of Taylor, AR; one step-daughter, Rika

Salamone of Cherokee Village, AR; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen

great-grandchildren and many friends.

A private memorial service will be 2:30 p.m,, February 21, 2010 at

Jacksonport Park in Jacksonport, AR.

Cremation arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn
