Fay Eldon Edwards age 81, of Quitman, Arkansas passed away March 27, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen S. Edwards and Florence Edwards, also a stepson Paul Yager.
He is survived by six sons, Joseph C. Edwards, Kenny Edwards, Eldon Edwards, John Edwards, Mathew Edwards, Mark Edwards, one stepson, Ronnie Yager, three daughters, Sharon Lewellan, Lorinda Wellschlgar, and Melinda Edwards, three brothers; Ray Edwards, Danel F. Edwards, Colen E. Edwards, and two sisters; Edith Kennedy and Patsy McCormick. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Van Buren Free and Accepted Masons, Shriners of North America, and as a Pilot a member of Soaring Society of America, and the Order of Quiet Birdman.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday April 1, 2010 at Holland Cemetery in Gravesville, Arkansas. Bro. Cecil Burgess will be officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Heber Springs Funeral Home.
