Ernie Wayne Hipp of Prim, AR went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Born in Woodrow, AR on February 11, 1948 to Juel and Audra (Hines) Hipp. Ernie is survived by his wife of 41 years – Nanette (Wilson) Hipp, and 2 daughters, Stacy Stair and Ron of Whitehall, Montana, Miranda Hipp of Prim, one cherished grandson Jeremy Stair, one granddaughter by bonds of love Sadie Medlock, one brother Terry Hipp of Prim, 5 sisters Janice Verser, Anna Geiger, Delma Carlton, Rhonda Davis, and Neva Osborn all of Prim, 13 nieces and nephews, , many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents J. A. and Ethel (Moody) Hipp of Prim, O. J. and Ethel (Lewellen) Hines of Prim, and a nephew Dustin Brown of Prim.

A 1966 graduated of West Side Greers Ferry, Ernie then attended Drafting School at Little Rock Business College. In 1969 was employed at Timex Corporation in Little Rock where he met and married Nanette and in 1970 was drafted to serve in Vietnam for 2 years. Ernie had a love for travel that led him to trucking for several years. He served the community by presiding over the Prim Fire and EMS Board. He was also employed in the family business Hipp Lumber & Hardware, Inc before retiring.

Ernie was of Holiness faith, he lived and loved to serve the Lord and his life left a testimony to that Faith. He loved to evangelize and also pastored the Dugan Pentecostal Church.

A Visitation will be held March 18, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the Hilltop Holiness Church. A Funeral Service will be held March 19, 2011at 10:00 a.m. also at the church.
