Eddie Howard Ferren, age 67, passed away November 22, 2010 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born March 25, 1943 to Floyd and Louise Ferren in West Point, Arkansas. Eddie loved hunting, fishing, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He worked as a sawmill worker most of his life and was a member of the West Point Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Julianne Ferren of Kensett, Arkansas; two sons, Floyd Ferren of Kensett and Daniel Ferren of Kensett; three daughters, Tina Crowley and fiancé Joseph Fazio of Searcy, Ladonna Tipps and husband Eddie of Bald Knob, Arkansas and Pauline Noland and husband Robert of Searcy, Arkansas; two sisters, Linda Roberson of Searcy, Arkansas, Norma Hopper of Kensett, Arkansas; 11 grand-children and 1.5 great-granchildren whom he lovingly referred too as his ugly ducklings, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Louise Ferren; two brothers, Hugh Ferren and Gary Ferren.
A Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2010 from 11:00 -2:00 p.m. in Searcy at Revival Church.
