Donald Wayne Mayfield, age 74, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away September 23, 2010 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born April 13, 1936 in Atlanta, Texas to Coy and Clifford Mayfield. He was a Veteran of the Navy and served as an electrician. He was also a machine operator with Skill Corporation in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was also a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of forty years, Charlene Mayfield of the home; one step-son, Dennis White of Elizabethton, TN; three brothers, Keith Mayfield, Kenneth Mayfield, Micheal Mayfield; three sisters, Gaye Metz, Donna Worman, Connie Austin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Clifford Mayfield.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Heber Springs Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 prior to service beginning at 12:00 p.m. till service time at 2:00 p.m. Internment will be in Wellston, Ohio.
