Della Mae Verser, 92, of Heber Springs, died February 6, 2010. She was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas, on September 21, 1917, to the late Blanch (Files) Verser and William Ernest Verser. Della was a member of First Baptist Church in Heber Springs, Arkansas. She taught school for several years and worked in the banking industry for 28 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and feeding wildlife. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ernest and Blanch Verser and one brother Wendal W. Verser.
She is survived by two brothers, Bryce Verser and wife Mary Lou, Wayne Verser and wife Willene both of Heber Springs, AR; three sisters, Edna M. Harmon and late husband Dennie of Bentonville, AR, Norma Lynn Bailey and husband Bill of Oakland, AR, and Freeda Cothren and husband Howard of Heber Springs, AR., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Rd., Heber Springs, AR. (501-887-9152).
Funeral Sevices will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1:30 pm at the First Baptist Church in Heber Springs with Brother J. R. DeBusk officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Brownsville Rd., Greers Ferry, AR. Online Obituary at www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com
