Beloved father and respected community member died Tuesday, July 26, in his home in Albion, AR due to a heat stroke. He was 67.
He was born on May 15, 1944 to parents George and Miriam Virginia Knickle Washburn (both deceased) in Marion, OH.
He is survived by his 5 children: Cari Washburn, Aleece Washburn Jester, Sondi Washburn Digman, Lydia Washburn, and Gavin David Washburn; grandsons Will and Owen Jester; and sister and brother-in-law Ann and Jim Addis.
David was a local fixture at the Pangburn Public School District where he was employed a school bus for many years. He was also a loving father and wonderful friend to all he encountered.
Services will be held at McJester Baptist Church, 25 Old River Rd., Pangburn, AR 72121 on Saturday, July 30th at 11:00 in the morning . Arrangements are by Heber Springs Funeral Home, 1199 Wilburn Road, Heber Springs, AR 501-887-9152.
