Andrew Daniel Harness, age 19, died Sunday, October 16, 2011 in Little Rock, AR. He was born January 23, 1992 to Van and Lisa Harness in Little Rock, AR. He was a member of Westside First Baptist Church. He was a member of the Greers Ferry baseball team from 1996-2010. He went to the State Playoffs at Baum Stadium in 2010. He was a 2010 graduate of Westside High School of Greers Ferry. He had enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Van “Vanny” Lee Harness, his grandparents, Cecil and Irene Harness.
He is survived by his mother, Lisa Harness, three sisters, Grace Harness of Springfield, MO, Anna Harness of Benton, AR, and Rose Milligan and husband Brian of Jonesboro, AR, fiancé Nycole Morris and her children Dillion, Madison, and Connor, grandparents, Maynard and Joan Bowers of Benton, AR, four uncles, Clytee Harness and wife June of New Port Richey, FL, Lanny Harness and wife Nena of Greenbrier, AR, Don Bowers of Alexander, AR and Robin Bowers of Benton, AR, many cousins, a large church family and many, many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at WestSide First Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, AR.
Funeral will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. also at WestSide First Baptist Church, Greers Ferry, AR.
Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children’s Homes, Greers Ferry Ambulance fund or WestSide First Baptist Church.
