Carl Ray Branscum, age 69, entered into rest July 30, 2011 at Seven Springs Rehab and Nursing Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born February 5, 1942 in Fox, Arkansas to Homer and Gladys Branscum.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Gladys Branscum, one brother Jimmy Branscum, and one twin sister Cathryn Thomas.
He is survived by one son, Homer Aaron Branscum and wife Aimee of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, one daughter Kathleen and husband, Daryl Pitts of Mountain View, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Michael Branscum and wife Sarah, Tyler Branscum, Karli Pitts, Bethany Branscum, and Kayla Pitts and one great grand-daughter, Eryn Branscum, two sisters, Callen Hines, Lenora and husband Jim Duncan, both of Mountain View, Arkansas, also many nieces and nephews, family and friends, including the special nurses and staff that has taken care of him over the last year at Seven Springs Nursing Home.
A Funeral service was held Sunday July 31, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Brownsville Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, Arkansas,with Rev. Homer Branscum and Rev. Daryl Pitts officiating. Interment was in the Brownsville Cemetery. Please sign online guestbook at www.heberspringsfuneralhome.com.
