Bobby Joe Lamb age 64, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his home in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born July 30, 1945 in Gibson County, Tennessee, to G and Birdie Lamb. He was Veteran of the Army, and he also was employed for several years at Arkansas Boating Center. He worked for twenty six years with the Memphis Fire Department. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW and the Memphis Firefighters Association.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Jean Lamb of Heber Springs; one daughter, Jennifer Honaker of South Haven, Mississippi; four step-daughters,  Kellie Harris of Drummonds, Tennessee, Terri Craig of Memphis, Tennessee, Cheryl Thome of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and Candace Bills of Bellview, Nebraska; three step-sons, Michael Humphreys of Heber Springs, Keith Humphreys of Memphis, Tennessee, Phillip Thome of Warrensburg, Missouri; one brother, Leonard Lamb of Tennessee; one sister, Ellen Kurkendal of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Tyler, Cheyann, Nicholas Honaker, Trey Harris, Benjamen Thome and Brodie Bills. Also he is survived by his first wife, Becky Solomon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Patricia Lamb; one brother, Shirley Lamb.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Heber Springs Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home.
