Benny Allen Richardson Sr., age 62, passed away December 27, 2010 in Heber Springs, AR. He was born June 2, 1948 to Cecil and Imogene Richardson in Memphis, TN. He worked as an auto mechanic for most of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved animals.
He is survived by his two sons, Benny Richardson Jr. of Atoka, TN and Jeremiah Prater of Satsuma, Alabama; two daughters, Brandy Thompson of Collierville, TN and Jessie Richardson of Oxford, Mississippi; four brothers, Jerry Richardson of Elkton, VA, Mike Richardson, of Arlington, TN, Brent Richardson of Elkton, VA and Steve Richardson of Memphis, TN; four sisters, Diane Halter of Benton, MO, Theresa Richardson of Heber Springs, AR, Jeannie Fly of Bartlett, TN and Robin Acree of Memphis, TN; ten grandchildren and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Diana Richardson, and his parents Cecil and Imogene Richardson.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held December 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home.
