Arthur Ray “Boone” Finch age 85, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 in Greers Ferry, AR.He was born December 18, 1923 to Arthur Lee and Rebecca Finch in Lone Pine, AR.He was a life long resident of Cleburne County a veteran of World War II and a lifetime farmer.He was also a member of the West Side Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna Lee Verser Finch of Greers Ferry; two sons, Jackie and wife Marsha of Greers Ferry, AR and David Finch of Greers Ferry; one daughter, Sharon and husband Woody Cothren of Germantown, Tennessee; two sisters, Mary Jennings of Floral, AR, and Hannah Reeves of Grand Junction, CO.He is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters;Roy Finch, Lee Finch, Ermitt Finch, Doyle Finch and Lester “Jackie” Petitt, Lovell Finch, Marion Finch and M.D. Finch, Mrs. Willie Drake and Mrs. Vernie Gray. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at the West Side Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, AR.Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2009 also at the West Side Baptist Church.Internment will follow at the Brownsville Cemetery in Greers Ferry, AR with Military Honors by Heber Springs VFW.All arrangements are under the direction of the Heber Springs Funeral Home.Please sign online guest book at heberspringsfuneralhome.com
