Anita Marie Hunter age 69, passed away September 25, 2011 in Concord, Arkansas, surrounded by her family.She was born December 22, 1941 in Conroe, Texas to Thomas and Mary McMullen. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Concord, Arkansas.She exemplified the Proverbs 31 woman.Her husband found her noble of character and priceless above rubies and her children have arisen and called her blessed.Many women have done noble things but in our hearts she has surpassed then all. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Randle Hunter of Concord, AR, Texas, her mother Mary McMullen of Lufkin, Texas, mother-in-law, Elba Hunter, of Rowlett, Texas, four daughters, Melony Ralph and husband Bob of Longview, Texas, Jill Tuma and husband Robbie of Rockwall, Texas, Wendy Matthews and husband Richard of Heber Springs, AR, Lori Hunter of Heber Springs, AR, and Mary McMullen of Lufkin, Texas, one sister Janice Hintson of Lufkin, Texas, one brother, Ronald McMullen and wife Sandy of Lufkin, Texas, fourteen grandchildren, Hunter Phillips and wife Michelle of Longview, Texas, Zack Phillips and wife Kristen of Longview, Texas, Molly Horn and husband Jonathan of Longview, Texas, Tyler West and wife Kala of Drasco, Arkansas, Grant Tuma of Rockwall, Texas, Preston Tuma of Rockwall, Texas, Joe Matthews of Heber Springs, AR, Mallory Tuma of Rockwall, Texas, Sam Phillips of Longview, Texas, Emily Matthews of Heber Springs, AR, Daisy Phillips of Longview, Texas, Isaac Matthews of Heber Springs, AR, Miles Matthews of Heber Springs, AR, Sara Matthews of Heber Springs, AR, three great-grandchildren, Noah West, Hadasah West and Kent Phillips, brother-in-law Terrell Hunter and wife Glenda of Longview, Texas,Also survived by five nieces and nephews and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her father Thomas C. McMullen, son-in-law Kent Phillips, and Father-in-law Keith Hunter. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home.A Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heber Springs Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Arkansas.
