Alice "Sue" DeVore, age 65, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Heber Springs. She was born October 19, 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee to Howard and Dorothy Loft. Sue worked as a secretary for the Chief of Police in Millington, Tennessee for several years, she was a member of the Heber Springs Jitter Bopper, Memphis Bop Club and a member of the West Pangburn Community Church. She is survived by her husband of ten years, Philip DeVore; three sons, Mark Elkins of Offerman, Georgia, Robbie Elkins of Waynesville, Georgia, Steve Elkins of Memphis, Tennessee; two step-daughters, Denise Boyd of Amory, Mississippi and Kim Lewis of Germantown, Tennessee; one brother, Mike Loft of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, Terri Tynes of Florida; five grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Logan, Howie, Nicky and four step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to the American Cancer Society or West Pangburn Community Church.
