Aaron Eugene Newcomb, age 101, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was born September 4, 1909 in Carmi, Illinois to Lewis and Rosetta Newcomb. He was an electrical engineer for most of his life and the superintendant of Pacific Power and Light. He was also a member of the Heber Springs Baptist Church and a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Stewart Newcomb of Heber Springs, Arkansas and one son, Eugene Newcomb of Sitka, Alaska.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the Humane Society of Heber Springs, Arkansas.
